THE PROS: The Vizio VBR220 has very good audio and video quality when playing back Blu-ray Discs. Has the ability to up scaling DVDs, can playback MP3s and Jpegs from the USB Port, BD-Live capable and built in WI-FI. Has internal audio decoders for Dolby® Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD® High Resolution, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
THE CONS: Some users have issues with the Remote Control not responding and hard to use. The WI-FI setup is not the easiest process and may require some time. With no internal memory, a flash USB memory drive will be needed for BD-Live access.
THE FINAL WORD: The VBR220 Blu-ray Player has very good image quality on Blu-ray discs. You have access to Online Streaming Media such as Cinema Now, Netflix, VUDU, Pandora Internet Radio, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Associated Press and The New York Times and many more. It has WI-FI built in making it easier to access the internet and BD-Live features. The Vizio VBR220 has some minor glitches and does not offer all the feature you would get in a higher end Blu-ray Player, it does however provide a solid 1080P FULL HD Blu-ray Image and great Online Streaming Services. — Price you should look for when purchasing — Under $160.00
