Downloads and displays jacket art, title, and other metadata
The BDP-CX7000ES takes advantage of its internet connectivity to download movie metadata such as jacket art, title, genre and cast information from the Gracenote™ service, and displays it in an intuitive, easy-to-navigate on-screen display.

Sort and search your discs by title, genre, and more
You will have quick and easy navigation of your Blu-ray Disc™ movies, DVDs and CDs. It gives you the ability to search and sort by title, genre, director, cast, and more all from your remote control.

RS-232 Port
The CX7000ES’s built-in RS-232 port allows the BDP-CX7000ES to be managed by audio / video control systems for full integration into a custom installed audio / video system.

Additionally, separate algorithms are used to process the moving and still parts of an image, resulting in sharp backgrounds with moving objects that are free from motion artifacts.

The Sony BDP-CX7000ES holds 400 Blu-ray, DVD or CD Discs. It uses Gracenote’s for video and music identification. It is a Profile 2.0 with 7.1 analog Outputs and a RS-232 port(for Custom Installing), Better Build Quality, and IR inputs and outputs. Has video features such as Sony’s HD Reality Enhancer to improve playback quality.

THE CONS:
Does not have built-in Wi-Fi capability or any Online Streaming Media Services. No DLNA support or internal memory for BD-Live content. It’s high price tag may not appeal to everyone.
