THE PROS: Panasonic’s DMP-BD30K Blu-ray Player provides great image quality with Blu-ray movie discs. Some great features include HDMI 1.3b output and can output Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio in bitstream format. One of the first Profile 1.1 Blu-ray Player. Also has a SD card slot which can operate high-def video from AVCHD camcorders.
THE CONS: Has no internal audio decoding for the high-resolution audio formats. No Ethernet Port which means Firmware upgrades can be difficult and no capability for interactive content.
