Some features missing from the BD650 player is internal memory for downloading BD-Live content. Some blu-ray disc have exclusive downloadable content, but since there is no internal storage memory in the BD650, you will require a USB flash drive of at least 1 GB to access and download this content. While the BD650 is wireless capable, you do need a USB LAN Adapter and this is sold separately. So there is an extra cost if you want to go wireless.

The BD650 from LG does offer us many great features, including being 3D capable. With excellent images and sound on both Blu-rays and DVDs, the BD650 is a solid player that will provides hours of entertainment. Especially if you take advantage of LG Smart TV feature; LG provides one of the better packages when it comes with online streaming media services. If you are not interested in 3D capability, you may want to check out LG’s BD640 player. It is basically the same as the BD650 – minus the 3D feature. — Price you should look for when purchasing — Under $150.00
