THE PROS: The Denon DVD-1800BD does an excellent job when playing back Blu-ray Disc and upscalling DVDs. It can transfer Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio in bitstream form via HDMI. It has Bonus View(PIP) and the SD Card slot gives you easy access for playing back music and photos.

THE CONS: Does not have any internal Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding or multichannel analog audio outputs, so it is not the best option for those who own an older A/V receiver. Does not support BD-Live.

THE FINAL WORD: The Denon DVD-1800BD is less expensive than it's other Blu-ray Player models. You can pay less and get more features with other Blu-ray players. Denon's target market are those who want a higher end model or for those who own a Denon receiver with internal Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD decoding. -- Price you should look for when purchasing -- Under $300.00
