The DMP-BDT100 is a new Full HD 3D Blu-ray Player that Panasonic has added to its lineup. This entry level player will have the basic features and functions as its other 3D Blu-ray Players – the DMB-BDT300 and DMB-BDT350. Which includes an Internet connection (wired and wireless) and 1080 DVD upscaling.
Along with upscaling standard definition content to near HD levels (1080p), it will support various range of audio formats. The DMP-BDT100 has an integrated SD card slot and USB ports for watching videos and photos. Of course it is equipped with Viera Cast, allowing consumers to gain access to a number of streaming media services. Including Netflix, YouTube and Amazon VOD, Pandora and Twitter.
One of the main differences with the DMP-BDT100 and Panasonic’s other 3D Blu-ray Players is that it will only have one HDMI Output. But it also promises to be smaller, energy efficient and have a one second boot up time. No price yet on the DMP-BDT100, but it should be available to purchase in August, 2010.
