| Published: March 12, 2010
Get ready for the next wave in home entertainment. Samsung has announced the pricing on its up coming 3D HDTV and Blu-ray Player. Some expert forecasters have predicted 9 million 3D TVs will be purchased in 2012. Which may seem like a large amount, but not really considering that hundreds of million TV sets will probably be sold that year. To get a extra hold on this market, Samsung is trying to lured consumers in by offering an incentive when purchasing a 3D TV and Blu-ray Player or Home Theater System. This being a 3D started kit with a 3D version of the movie Monsters vs, Aliens and also a pair of 3D glasses.
$1,999.99 for the UN40C7000 will be the lowest price tag for Samsung’s LED-based 3D TV sets. Up to $7,000 for the 55 inch UN55C9000. Plasmas #D set will be $1,799.99 for the PN500C700 and $3,799.99 for the PN63C8000. Another $400.00 for Samsung’s BD-C6900 Blu-ray Player and $900.00 if you choose the 3D compatible HT-C6900W Blu-ray Home Theater System. So with these prices, you can clearly see why any free offers would be a welcome sight. Samsung states their 3D Starter Kits to be about $350.00. Each pair of 3D glasses to be about $150.00. This will definitely start to add up if you want extra glasses. But what is being labeled as the ultimate in the home viewing experience, something that will to simulate the thrill you get from 3D in a big theater; for some the price will be worth it.
